Held every month at the Koh Phangan beach, around 20,000 locals and tourists attend this party and kiss all their inhibitions goodbye. International and Thai DJs spin the most radical techno and trance numbers and the whimsical crowd dances to them till the wee hours of the morning. Make sure to leave all your priced possessions back at the hotel when going for this event. And by all means, stay away from strangers trying to sell you drugs, unless you want to experience Thai hospitality in prison as well!
